New Glass Project

I just finished my most recent glass project. It has been a fun one to make. We got the idea for this project up in McCall at a glass shop. 

September Baby Ducks

Today we were visited by 7 baby ducks. They came into our yard to eat the bird seed that has fallen on the ground. It seems to be late in the season to have baby ducks they are usually hatched in the spring. They are fun to watch.

Hot Air Balloons at the Park!

Last Saturday morning we went with the Jacksons down to Ann Morrison Park to see them launch the hot air balloons. It was great fun and everyone enjoyed it. We were all in awe watching the balloons fill up and float up into the sky. This is an event that we hope we can go to every year.

Camping at Sage Hen

We had a great time camping last week with the three oldest Jackson boys. The weather was great with warm enough temperatures to go swimming in the lake. We went on a hike every day. Our favorite hike was the 4 miler around the lake with a picnic on top of a huge rock. We also found an area that had thousands of baby frogs. The boys were great and a big help while camping. Hope we can go camping again before it gets to cold.

Donna's Funeral

My sister-in-law, Donna, past away on Feb. 5, 2011 in Idaho Falls. Benji and I drove over to her funeral on Friday. The services were very nice and were attended by a lot of family members.

My brothers and sisters were all in attendance. All 5 of us don't get together very often and when we do we like to take a picture. You can see in the photo that all of them are getting older except me. (Don't we wish!)

The program was nice. All 5 of Duane's children talked of remembances of their mother. The boys sang and all the grand and great grand children sang a medley of primary songs.

Duane looks in better health now than he has in years. Hopefully we will have him around for many more years.

Living Legends

What a wonderful evening we had last night in going to BYU's production of Living Legends. Everyone seemed to enjoy the dancing and the costumes. Thank you Aaron, Tory and boys for going with us.

Kids Monsters

Tory, Aaron and the boys came over for dinner Sunday. After dinner the we and the boys worked on monsters taken from a new book we purchased in Texas called Papertoy Monsters. We all had a great time.
